2 8-oz. cans tomato sauce | 1 can tomato paste |
1 onion, sliced | lots of minced garlic |
1 14-oz. can diced tomatoes | 1 can sliced mushrooms |
spices to taste: oregano, chive, thyme, basil | salt and pepper to taste |
olive oil | water as needed |
Saute onions in a little olive oil until limp. Add garlic and saute a little more.
Add other ingredients, simmer "enough," about an hour. Correct the seasoning.
