|2 cups cooked mashed squash||1/4 cup sugar|
|1/2 cup mayonnaise||1/2 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese|
|1/2 cup breadcrumbs or cracker crumbs such as Ritz||1/2 cup chopped onion|
|1 egg beaten|
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.
Stir all the above together and put into a 1 1/2 quart casseroleTopping
|1/2 cup cracker crumbs||1/4 cup butter (1/2 stick), melted|
|1/2 cup chopped pecans|
Top with topping.
Bake 40 minutes.
